Stand Tall In The Sight Of The Father

CATHOLIC LIFE COACH FOR MEN PODCAST

God should come first, but what does that really mean?

I’m Michael Jaquith. A modern Catholic guy, a podcaster, and a Life Coach. This podcast is dedicated to those guys who really want to grow and become the man God created them to be.

We’ll talk about both practical strategies for managing life, better ways to view and engage the world, and how to take one step closer to standing tall in the sight of the Father.

101 – Maturity and Love with Barry Nicolaou

Life is complex. We hear a lot of messages that we don’t really know how to interpret. So much gets tangled up in our minds – how does it all fit together?

What if life could be simpler?

What if love could be looked at, rather than a sweet and light feeling, but instead as a choice. Specifically, a choice that helps us grow, mature, and become a more Godly person?

Join me in this episode as Barry Nicolaou shares his life story of this exact type of growth. We have some bad thoughts (sometimes through our ego), but they don’t serve us. Being open to God, open to love, open to connection is the only way to really find meaning and purpose.

100 – Six Biggest Coaching Takeaways

Episode 100, yay!

It’s been almost 2 years since I started this podcast, and it’s been quite the adventure. At the same time, I’ve been helping countless men to forever change their lives for the better.

What’s surprising is how many failings in common we all have.

We all fall to the same sins. We tend to then lose sight of ourselves in the process and drown in shame.

But there is hope!

In this episode I explore the six most common problems I’ve encountered in my time coaching, and what to do about them. It’s extremely likely at least one of these will affect you.

Let me know what you think, I’m always looking for more feedback

99 – My Journey with Marital ADHD

My wife recently announced that she was diagnosed with adult ADHD. Maybe you don’t know much about that – I sure didn’t before this adventure started.

I’m sad to say I didn’t handle it well at first.

Sometimes I still don’t!

Join me in this episode as I talk about the 4 stages I went through in dealing with my wife’s behavior and our marriage in light of her diagnosis. I didn’t start out great, but what I learned applies to every time we don’t like something about our spouse.

This episode is raw, and a little bit embarrassing. Let me know what you think!

“It has been extremely helpful to have someone that can look at things from an outside perspective and ask objective, and hard, questions and then follow that up with some great resource recommendations. He has helped me question my own assumptions which has allowed me to get clear and focused on my goals and objectives to and be able to make changes in my circumstances and life.”
